[S1E8] Pipe Cleaner

Sara had lost her ring and the only logical place inside one of the buckets of evidence. The medical examiner determined they pulled more than one victim from the pipes! More investigation revealed Eric was shot as they recovered the bullet fragment. Folsom and Rajan confronted Herman Maddock about the bullet they found but were stifled without a warrant.

The new episode of season 1, episode 8, is titled "Pipe Cleaner". Now we all know pipes are a mysterious place, and if you don't know what's down there, it could be something fatal. CSI Vegas is expected to deliver another edge-of-the-seat thriller following in line with the previous week's episode.

Of course, Earl is unconvinced. Lionel Luthor arrives by helicopter. He tries to talk with Earl. Earl has another episode and grabs a valve to steady himself. It comes off in his hands and hits Clark across the face. Clark is fine, but the pipe is leaking methane gas. Whitney wants Clark to help him take Earl out. Clark can't help, so Whitney tries to do it himself. He fails.

The episode opens with a screaming young girl being attacked by a monster, before being revealed that it's only a horror movie Melinda is watching. She is obviously freaked out by it until Jim walks in, just getting back from work. Melinda tells him its not a movie she wants to watch alone, and Jim tells her that she's seen it before so why is it so scary. Melinda thinks it just is, and then asks Jim if he will watch the film with her to hold her hand, and he says he will once he's taken a shower. Melinda keeps hold of his hand as he tries to pull away, eventually breaking free. Jim walks out the room as the tattooed ghost from the previous episode briefly flashes in and out of view, and Melinda doesn't notice, staying glued to the TV screen. Jim begins to run the shower, asking Melinda if she has ever had days that just feel weird, and Melinda continues to shout at the TV, wondering why the character is doing that. Jim continues to talk to Melinda, even though she isn't paying attention. Soon, red liquid that looks like blood starts pouring out the showerhead, and it takes a while for Jim to notice, but eventually backs away and scares Melinda, telling her that a plumbing job he did yesterday must have put some rust in the pipes. Melinda apologizes for not telling him as she had the same problem when washing her face. Soon, Jim walks into the bedroom looking depressed, and Melinda asks him what's the matter, but he just tells her he has to lock up. When he goes, the ghost briefly appears again, and Melinda looks at the wrong time and doesn't see him. Putting her attention back on the screen, Melinda screams and moves her eyes away. 041b061a72
