Originally called Outer Limits as a reference to the iconic '60s show of the same name, instrumental surf rock piece Out of Limits was a huge hit for The Marketts in 1963, staying in the US Hot 100 for fourteen weeks and selling a million copies globally. The song plays in Pulp Fiction as Butch escapes via motorcycle with his girlfriend - one of the few characters with a happy ending, and what is chronologically the last scene in the film.

The easy put down would have been "it was quantity over quality," but that's the thing about Wayne in his prime: Nearly everything he did was quality. There was always one random line or burst of flow that was worth hearing. The highlight was his spectacular double disc mixtape Da Drought 3, which found Wayne blacking out over one instrumental after another. The most significant cut was "Dough Is What I Got," which had him rapping over Jay Z's lackluster "Show Me What You Got." None can forget the legendary love triangle that spawned "Seventy Times 7," a scorching diss track against Taking Back Sunday's John Nolan. "I've seen more spine in jellyfish," spits Lacey, "I've seen more guts in 11-year-old kids!"
