Unlike other shaders for Minecraft, Shaders Mod contains a plethora of shaderpacks put together, ensuring the player will find a redesign of a familiar object every time they boot the game up. Using the cooperation of several mod developers, Shaders Mod provides graphical changes to shadows, weather, light, and map drawing. While those aspects seem simple enough, they attribute to the majority of the visual atmosphere to the game. Stormy weather will feel darker and more ominous, sunlight will feel brighter and more calming, and sunsets will look more magnificent than before.

Another factor that separates Shaders Mod from traditional shaders is in the title: Shaders Mod. With this mod, several shaderpacks are added from numerous contributors. Because of this, a player has an incredible amount of customization when it comes to decided how their world should look. While many of the shaders added require a specific set of hardware, some of the shaders are a bit friendlier. Some shaders are available for OSX, Intel graphics cards, OptiFine, Minecraft builds that do not use Forge, computers with low graphics capabilities, and older versions of Minecraft. If anything is to be taken from this mod, keep in mind that it allows for a hands-on approach towards choosing which shaders are used.
GLSL Shaders Mod (1.19.4, 1.18.2) adds shaders to Minecraft and add multiple draw buffers, shadow map, normal map, specular map. These things can be used to change appearance of Minecraft world. How it looks depends on selected shaderpack and some user settings.
The GLSL shaders mod is very GPU intensive, and requires a very decent computer to run it well. It is advised that the user be smart when choosing to install, and use this mod. A large amount of FPS (Frame-Rate per second) will be used in the entire process of using the mod.
Many Minecraft users normally will be used to having some graphical enhancements in the form of resource packs and shaders. For copyright reasons code from optifine could not be bundled with RLCraft and information about how to install them on CurseForge and Technic launchers has been limited.
And that's not it. Write your shaders just once, they'll work everywhere, regardless of your target being Direct3D or OpenGL: ReShade takes care of compiling them to the right shader model and language (HLSL, GLSL or SPIR-V).
Minecraft Iris shaders mod has been one of the most popular Minecraft add-ons for years, is up-to-date, and runs without lags. It is the link between shader packs and Minecraft. You can decide for yourself whether to install it with the installer or with a modloader, such as Fabric or Quilt. This software solution has already been downloaded over five million times since its first release. By the way, everything is completely free.
After that, you can add as many unique shaders as you like. All you have to do is follow the instructions from step ten to fourteen.
