Once you have converted all your books to Kindle format, select File > Library management. The Books tab will open. You should see all the books that you have converted, both the originals and the Kindle copies. If some of your books are not in this list, then they have not been converted successfully.

I recommend that you remove these books, as the downloaded copies might not be read on other devices. In most cases, you should be able to remove them with the Delete files option in Calibre. You will see a message telling you to confirm your deletion.
The library window should now be empty. Click on the Add books to library button. Select the option to Create the library with empty books from the dropdown menu. Click on OK. The library window should now be empty.
Click on File > Import ebook to import the books from the zip archive. Select Amazon KF8 (DRM-free) as the Kindle format from the Kindle book format dropdown menu. Then select Select files to convert and select the Convert files to books option. Select all the books in the list and click on Apply. A message confirming your selection should appear.
The only software Microsoft may generate serial numbers is Acrobat Reader (not Adobe Acrobat) and Microsoft Office. Please be aware that the serial numbers of both programs are already known by Adobe because they are used for validation.
this trick also works with adobe's creative cloud subscription, as long as you have the serial numbers from the email you were sent. once you go to your lws account, find the serial number youre looking for, and download the creative cloud software from the lws, just as you would a kindle book.
